The problem with being on a tiny little island for med school is that everyone is pretty much living under a rock. They have no idea of what's happening in the United States and even less with what's going on in the rest of the world. I just wanted to take the time and clue some people into the happenings of Norway today. A CHRISTIAN fundamentalist (everyone yesterday just loved jumping on the Muslim terrorist train) was responsible for the bombing and shooting spree at a children's camp where he left over 90 people dead. The suspect is in custody and police are still determining if there was another person involved.
My condolences go out to the children, family members and the people of Norway for this senseless act of violence.
