Immunology and Physio are both fine, but man oh man is MCB II a killer this block! I'm literally drowning in information right now. I've been making flashcards for MCB the last few months (and they have been working fabulously) so the following picture just goes to show how much more information we are responsible for this block.
Part of the problem is we didn't finish all the lecture material during block 2 because of the holidays. To remedy the situation the professor just figured he would shove a few extra lectures in with what we were already doing. I'm up to about 350 cards at the moment, and we still have 3 more class days of new material :(
Block 3 exams in 5 days, 13 hours, and 40 minutes.
Wish me luck, I'm going to try memorizing 20% of those cards tonight.

I know that the volume of info is tremendous..That is why Im praciticing now, staying up to 4am....the only thing is, Im not waking up til noon..that is a problem..right, I dont want to miss class...LOL..So, I have to rethink that study strategy...LOL

ReplyDeleteHello, good luck with you studying! I was just wondering if you could offer some advice regarding med schools as I am planning to apply this year. I just graduated with a B.S in Biology with a 3.4 and my mcat score is 22. However, I am planning to retake the test. What do you think my chances are of getting into AUC? I will really appreciate your help! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you very much and with your current scores I think you have a solid chance of getting into AUC in the January or May semester. September would be a little tougher for you though. If you do retake the MCAT and can get a 29+ definitely try your luck with some US schools!
ReplyDeleteGood luck! And thanks for visiting my blog :)
Back when I was a second semester, some upperclassmen told me that med school doesn't start until second semester third block. your picture w/ the stack of notecards is proof of that. Love the picture. Good luck Andrea on Monday. I'm sure you'll do great!
