Where is St. Maarten?

I've been getting that question a lot.
And for awhile, I'm embarrassed to say that I didn't know either.
But, I have remedied this issue and after looking it up on google, I now know exactly where I'm flying to in three weeks! The red arrow in the map below shows the tiny little island of St. Maarten

How big is St. Maarten you ask? It's around 36 sq miles and to really put that into perspective, it's  driving six miles north, then six miles east and you have now covered the dimensions of the entire island.

The country itself is split by two nations. It is shared by the Netherlands and France. The two official languages are Dutch and French, but everyone knows English on the island.

The population stands at around 30,235 (CIA World Factbook)

And climate? 80-85ºF all year long, low humidity, and brief, but intense rain showers. Love it.
