MCB average was a 78% and I got another 80%
Fine, good, not complaining considering the amount of effort I put into this class (almost none).
Histo average was around an 80% and I'm ashamed to report that I actually failed this particular exam with 65%. My guess-timation of 73% was a little too presumptuous, and it kills me because this class is just so damn easy. I wanted to honor in it, but I'll just have to accept a pass.
Anatomy average was a 75% and I got a 70%. Barely passed I know, but at least I'm trending in the right direction. The head and neck was supposedly the hardest block, so I feel good that I passed this and it's over with.
As disappointed as I am in failing histo, I'm actually pretty happy with my grades. I thought I was going to do much worse in anatomy, but passing really perked up my day. As long as I keep my study streak going, I think I should build on all these grades for the 3rd block exams. I spent 3 hours in LH4 yesterday going over all the material and I plan on doing the same thing today after lab. As long as I don't slack and continue reviewing all the material everyday, block III should be very good to me and hopefully I will be able to pass all my classes by the end of the semester.

Keep workin hard, don't get discouraged too much! I like how you're posting the test averages; it's giving me a good idea of what to expect come May when I too have to deal with all the material! ;)
ReplyDeleteHey Spencer,
ReplyDeleteNo problem, I'm glad it's useful to someone! And glad to hear that you will be coming down in May.
Hopefully my grades will pick after block III, and I'll have something to show for my hard work.

ReplyDeleteHi Andrea
ReplyDeleteQuestion for you. 1) how old is the oldest student? 2) how many students are there with families 3)how many students are there with families that have 2 or more children Thank you
Thanks for all the support guys and to answer the questions of the last anonymous person :
ReplyDelete1. We (the first semester class) have a couple of students between 35-40 years old. I think the Jan and May classes generally have older students compared with the September class which is mostly 21-22 year olds who just graduated college the May before. My class we have a good number of people in their mid to late 20s and a few in their 30s, but the oldest are closer to 40.
2. I only know of one student in the first semester class with a family. His wife is here and they have a 6 month year old baby.
3. I know one man in the third semester who has his wife and two older kids here. There have been people who've brought there whole families in the past and they have written blogs about it:

hope that helps!
